More about us…
-
Whitney began working as a birth photographer 14 years ago. She is now a full-spectrum doula trained by BADT. Her work centers bodily autonomy, anti-racist action and mindfulness.
With an eye toward reducing birth trauma, Whitney prepares families with evidence-based information regarding childbirth and baby feeding options. She will accompany you down whatever path your pregnancy leads with compassion and deep listening.
Her clients describe her as a calm presence in the storm - and she loves seeing them empowered in their journey to parenthood! She also admittedly loves a late night stop at Taco Bell. Chalupas forever!

Angel has worked with birthing and postpartum families for 16 years and serves on the board of NWA’s Postpartum Support International’s Arkansas chapter. She is passionate about improving birth outcomes, evidence-based information, and patient-centered care.
Her areas of expertise include breastfeeding, babywearing, infant care, and all things car seats! She loves educating new parents, giving them gentle encouragement, and helping them discover their self-confidence.
Angel knows there’s no “one size fits all” approach to parenting, and supports families to find their own path. She supports women to trust their bodies and make informed decisions — to have beautiful, peaceful, and joyful experiences welcoming their babies to the world. She is a bit of a baby whisperer, and loves sharing her hard-earned knowledge of birth, babies and parenting with families.

Katie has a bachelor’s degree in social work and a long history of supporting families welcoming a new baby. She’s a certified birth doula with training in breastfeeding support and newborn care. She has completed Spinning Babies workshops and continues to expand her understanding and application of body mechanics in childbirth.
With her experience supporting home births and her love of building diverse alliances and teams, Katie feels her clients benefit from having a natural-minded doula with a team-centered approach.
No matter how or where you plan to birth your baby, Katie is happy to support your choice and help you physically and emotionally as you move your baby into this world.

Bianca’s love for birth work began as a young child watching a TV show called ‘A Baby Story.’ She is now a certified full-spectrum doula with training from BADT.
Bianca’s background in massage therapy and esthetics make her a great choice for anyone wanting a little extra TLC with their pregnancy and postpartum support. She holds certifications in MotherMassage (pregnancy massage focused on prenatal and postpartum relaxation) and manual lymphatic drainage.
As a doula Bianca offers physical and emotional support and encourages her clients to feel empowered in their childbirth choices.
For fun she enjoys attending Razorback games with her husband, playing video games and cuddling on the couch with her tuxedo cat. Woo Pig Sooie!

Prior to training as a doula, Emily worked as an advocate for expectant and postpartum parents in crisis, combining her interest in birth support and her education in human services/counseling techniques. Through this nonprofit position, she supported different types of births at all the hospitals in NWA, and became passionate about helping women advocate for themselves in the birth space.
Emily has also attended multiple home births, and has given birth herself to two beautiful boys–one at home full-term, and one in the hospital preterm, with a NICU stay following. She draws on her own healing from birth trauma and PPD as well as her training when supporting families. She loves helping new parents feel empowered in their shifting role.
On any given day, you can find Emily dabbling in a variety of artsy-type hobbies, with Friends or The Big Bang Theory on in the background. At the height of her boy-mom era, she is also likely to be found outside digging for worms, hunting for frogs, or wading in the creek with her boys.

Aneva (she/her) became a certified full-spectrum doula after years of studying trauma prevention and developmental psychology. While in graduate school for community development, Aneva became deeply passionate about Black perinatal health and reproductive justice advocacy.
As a queer woman of color, learning how to best show up for her communities to promote positive birth outcomes was of utmost importance to Aneva. After training with BADT in 2021, she found her niche as a community doula while working with a nonprofit dedicated to improving maternal health for Black birthing folks in Nashville, TN.
Aneva is a gentle yet fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ families and families of color in the birth space and beyond. In her free time Aneva loves watching movies, snuggling her cats, going to concerts, and exploring nature with her partner and their golden retriever Harley.

Euni trained with DONA International in January of 2020, and cross-certified with ProDoula in the fall of 2021. She is also trained in Spinning Babies. Her interest in doula work was piqued in 2017 when she gave birth to her oldest child. She experienced firsthand the positive impact doula support can have on a family’s experience.
As a doula, Euni is rooted in the belief that wherever or however they give birth, mothers never forget how they were treated during this pivotal experience.
Euni lives in South Fayetteville with her husband and three kids. She grew up in Central Kansas, which is why you hear her gushing about the “gorgeous weather we’re having” when it’s pouring rain. She listens to lots of podcasts and audiobooks – especially thrillers. Euni cares deeply about family and community, and is happiest when her house is full of people.

Nicole is dual-certified with DONA International and Ujima Maternity Network. She is also trained in Spinning Babies and is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Prior to pursuing her dream of working with expectant families, Nicole worked as a teacher for more than 15 years — teaching everything from preschool to 6th grade.
She left the classroom to focus on her family, which includes her husband and three amazing kids (two of whom are twins!) She’s had a passion for birthwork since giving birth to her first child and is thrilled to have made the shift from teaching to her work as a doula.
As a doula, Nicole is a patient and a calm presence during birth. Nicole strives to help the women she works with trust themselves and their bodies and she believes there is no one stronger or more capable than a mother. Nicole wants the families she works with to feel safe and supported throughout their journey to parenthood.
Originally from Michigan, Nicole has called Fayetteville home since 2006. If the sun is shining, you can find her somewhere outside. She enjoys walking, reading, cooking homemade meals with her husband and game nights with her family.

Ash grew up in Northwest Arkansas, and discovered an early passion for healthcare. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and pre-medicine, with additional degrees in Medical Humanities and Spanish.
Realizing she wanted to provide care that supports, informs, and is tailored to individual needs, she trained as a doula with DONA International in Indonesia. Ash is also trained as a Pregnancy Loss Doula and is a Certified Health Coach. She has a special interest in postpartum nutrition.
Ash knows that walking alongside someone in life-changing journeys is no small invitation, and she accepts each one with gratitude and kindness.
our Intern Doulas | 2026 cohort
Intern doulas, Kesten Payton, Haley Deatherage and Hannah Grace Evans have all completed their birth doula training. They are working with Bentonville Birth Services clients to complete certification requirements. Each intern doula receives supervision and mentorship from a Senior Level doula — ensuring our clients have access to high quality, professional support. We are committed to making doula support accessible and welcoming new individuals to this line of work.
Interns are an excellent option for families with limited financial resources and those who do not have access to insurance reimbursement options. If you’re interested in working with an intern — please let us know!
Postpartum Doulas
Some postpartum doulas provide birth support as well: Aneva, Angel, Bianca — see their bios above. Below are the doulas who focus solely on helping families after your baby is born. Get to know the baby whisperers!
Abi Mino | Postpartum Doula
Abi’s passion for this work began in 2010, during the pregnancy of her oldest son. The education and support she received transformed the way she gave birth, experienced her postpartum period, and how she nurtures her family to this day.
Abi is passionate about supporting women and families, building community, and providing empowering childbirth education.
When she isn't teaching a class or headed to an overnight postpartum visit, you can find Abi homeschooling her brood of five (yes, she knows that's a lot!), volunteering with children’s theater, on a hike in the woods, or curled up in a coffee shop with a good book.
Janay Barrow | Postpartum Doula
Janay received her postpartum doula certification from Childbirth International in 2025, but she was a well-known baby whisperer long before that. The mother of 5 beautiful children, Janay was always that friend at church who snuggled babies to sleep so mom could have a moment to herself.
When she’s not driving her kiddos to and from activities, Janay is teaching fitness classes and planning her family’s next travel adventure.
Clients love her bubbly personality and practical tips and tricks. Janay knows that every new mom needs a cheerleader in her corner — and probably a nap too!
Twyla Licatino | Postpartum Doula
Twyla trained as a postpartum doula with DONA International in 2026. Her passion for helping families sparked in 2018 after her first home birth experience and postpartum period. Her own challenges and triumphs motivated her to begin her doula journey in hopes of supporting families through the life changing milestone that is parenthood.
Twyla’s goal is to nurture and empower parents to lean into their own intuition with their baby. She believes that positive, respectful hands-on support is vital for healing during the postpartum period and is honored to serve NWA families.
A native Texan who now lives in Rogers, Arkansas with her husband and two daughters, Twyla enjoys mountain biking, gardening, sourdough, and a good vintage find.
