Postpartum doula care
Postpartum doula support provides families with peace of mind, knowing they will have help with whatever challenges lay ahead. A postpartum doula is trained and knowledgeable about breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, perinatal mood disorders, infant care & sleep, family dynamics, baby wearing, and more! Your doula can also help with practical things around the house — meal prep, laundry, and light cleaning.
Whatever the chaos of your postpartum situation, a doula can provide calming guidance and help you find strategies that make the newborn days more manageable. Our doulas are here to help you gain confidence in your unique parenting approach.
Daytime doula care
Best for support with breastfeeding, infant care, hands-on help and household tasks. Daytime shifts are a great opportunity to have your new parent questions answered: everything from bath time to tummy time, baby soothing and more.

Caring for baby while you shower or rest
Teaching you about normal newborn behavior and development
Meal prep, dishes
Combo doula care
Best for parents who want a combination of both daytime support & nighttime hours. Parents get the benefit of a good night’s sleep along with some help with infant care, nursing, and postpartum recovery during the day.

How does it work? book a number of hours with a proposed schedule.
Every family is unique — and we don’t expect you to know EXACTLY what you’ll need help with after birth. Schedule a consultation call to discuss your specific situation and postpartum plan. We’ll make recommendations and together create a customized package to best suit your family. Then we match you with doulas to interview so you know the friendly face who will be supporting you after the birth.
Hourly rates for postpartum doula care range from $45-50/hour depending on number of hours booked. Minimum contract is 25 hours.
The cost of a postpartum doula can be offset with FSA or HSA funds, utilizing private insurance reimbursement, or the newly announced Doula Benefit available to Walmart Employees. You can also add us to your registry so friends and family can contribute to your doula fund! We are happy to assist you in securing the care you need as you welcome a new baby.
