OUR TEAM
Whitney Hardie, Founder
Senior Birth Doula, Photographer, Lactation Educator
Whitney began working as a birth photographer 12 years ago. She is now a full-spectrum doula trained by BADT. Her work centers bodily autonomy, anti-racist action and mindfulness.
With an eye toward reducing birth trauma, Whitney prepares families with evidence-based information regarding childbirth and baby feeding options. She will accompany you down whatever path your pregnancy leads with compassion and deep listening.
Her clients describe her as a calm presence in the storm - and she loves seeing them empowered in their journey to parenthood! She also admittedly loves a late night stop at Taco Bell. Chalupas forever!
Angel Mattes, Postpartum Care coordinator
Senior Birth & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator, CPST
Angel has worked with birthing and postpartum families for 16 years and serves on the board of NWA’s Postpartum Support International’s Arkansas chapter. She is passionate about improving birth outcomes, evidence-based information, and patient-centered care.
Her areas of expertise include breastfeeding, babywearing, infant care, and all things car seats! She loves educating new parents, giving them gentle encouragement, and helping them discover their self-confidence.
Angel knows there’s no “one size fits all” approach to parenting, and supports families to find their own path. She supports women to trust their bodies and make informed decisions — to have beautiful, peaceful, and joyful experiences welcoming their babies to the world. She is a bit of a baby whisperer, and loves sharing her hard-earned knowledge of birth, babies and parenting with families.
Avalyn Collier
Senior Birth Doula
Avalyn has always had a passion for everything birth, baby and pregnancy related. She loves listening to birth stories, caring for children, educating and empowering women. She started her journey as a birth doula in Jan 2020 when she trained with the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations and Bastyr University.
She has also completed training to be a postpartum doula and childbirth educator. She is certified in the use of TENS, Spinning Babies, CPR and First Aid.
Avalyn loves standup paddle boarding, cooking, baking, watercolor and spending time with her husband, two dogs and cat. She really looks forward to meeting you and supporting you through this life changing time.
Bianca Wallace
Apprentice Birth & Postpartum Doula, Licensed Massage Therapist
Bianca’s love for birth work began as a young child watching a TV show called ‘A Baby Story.’ She is now a certified full-spectrum doula with training from BADT.
Bianca’s background in massage therapy and esthetics make her a great choice for anyone wanting a little extra TLC with their pregnancy and postpartum support. She holds certifications in MotherMassage (pregnancy massage focused on prenatal and postpartum relaxation) and manual lymphatic drainage.
As a doula Bianca offers physical and emotional support and encourages her clients to feel empowered in their childbirth choices.
For fun she enjoys attending Razorback games with her significant other, playing video games and cuddling on the couch with her tuxedo cat. Woo Pig Sooie!
Katie Murray
Senior Birth Doula
Katie has a bachelor’s degree in social work and a long history of supporting families welcoming a new baby. She’s a certified birth doula with training in breastfeeding support and newborn care. She has completed Spinning Babies workshops and continues to expand her understanding and application of body mechanics in childbirth.
With her experience supporting home births and her love of building diverse alliances and teams, Katie feels her clients benefit from having a natural-minded doula with a team-centered approach.
No matter how or where you plan to birth your baby, Katie is happy to support your choice and help you physically and emotionally as you move your baby into this world.
Madison Beckett
Apprentice Birth & Postpartum Doula
Madison is a wife and mother to four beautiful children. They live on a homestead in a cozy corner of south Fayetteville.
Madison received her doula training from Madriella and also relies on her own diverse experiences with birth to support her clients. She’s had one spontaneous labor, two induced with an epidural, and one induced without an epidural. She is well educated on gestational diabetes due to having it with 3/4 of her own pregnancies. She’s also a breastfeeding veteran with 5 years total under her belt! Clients describe her as the sweet friend you look forward to chatting with during 2am nursing sessions.
In her free time Madison loves to go on walks, attend concerts, and adventure with her family!
Euni yutzy
Apprentice Birth Doula
Euni trained with DONA International in January of 2020, and cross-certified with ProDoula in the fall of 2021. She is also trained in Spinning Babies. Her interest in doula work was piqued in 2017 when she gave birth to her oldest child. She experienced firsthand the positive impact doula support can have on a family’s experience.
As a doula, Euni is rooted in the belief that wherever or however they give birth, mothers never forget how they were treated during this pivotal experience.
Euni lives in South Fayetteville with her husband and three kids. She grew up in Central Kansas, which is why you hear her gushing about the “gorgeous weather we’re having” when it’s pouring rain. She listens to lots of podcasts and audiobooks – especially thrillers. Euni cares deeply about family and community, and is happiest when her house is full of people.
