More about us…

our Intern Doulas | 2026 cohort

Intern doulas, Kesten Payton, Haley Deatherage and Hannah Grace Evans have all completed their birth doula training. They are working with Bentonville Birth Services clients to complete certification requirements. Each intern doula receives supervision and mentorship from a Senior Level doula — ensuring our clients have access to high quality, professional support. We are committed to making doula support accessible and welcoming new individuals to this line of work.

Interns are an excellent option for families with limited financial resources and those who do not have access to insurance reimbursement options. If you’re interested in working with an intern — please let us know!

Postpartum Doulas

Some postpartum doulas provide birth support as well: Aneva, Angel, Bianca — see their bios above Below are the doulas who focus solely on helping families after your baby is born. Get to know the baby whisperers!

Abi Mino | Postpartum Doula

Abi’s passion for this work began in 2010, during the pregnancy of her oldest son. The education and support she received transformed the way she gave birth, experienced her postpartum period, and how she nurtures her family to this day.

Abi is passionate about supporting women and families, building community, and providing empowering childbirth education.

When she isn't teaching a class or headed to an overnight postpartum visit, you can find Abi homeschooling her brood of five (yes, she knows that's a lot!), volunteering with children’s theater, on a hike in the woods, or curled up in a coffee shop with a good book.

Janay Barrow | Postpartum Doula

Janay received her postpartum doula certification from Childbirth International in 2025, but she was a well-known baby whisperer long before that. The mother of 5 beautiful children, Janay was always that friend at church who snuggled babies to sleep so mom could have a moment to herself.

When she’s not driving her kiddos to and from activities, Janay is teaching fitness classes and planning her family’s next travel adventure.

Clients love her bubbly personality and practical tips and tricks. Janay knows that every new mom needs a cheerleader in her corner — and probably a nap too!

Twyla Licatino | Postpartum Doula

Twyla trained as a postpartum doula with DONA International in 2026. Her passion for helping families sparked in 2018 after her first home birth experience and postpartum period. Her own challenges and triumphs motivated her to begin her doula journey in hopes of supporting families through the life changing milestone that is parenthood.

Twyla’s goal is to nurture and empower parents to lean into their own intuition with their baby. She believes that positive, respectful hands-on support is vital for healing during the postpartum period and is honored to serve NWA families.

A native Texan who now lives in Rogers, Arkansas with her husband and two daughters, Twyla enjoys mountain biking, gardening, sourdough, and a good vintage find.
